Ever since my Dopod died, I've been looking high and low for a new phone.
It was my very first Windows Mobile Phone, and eventhough it ran the slowest version,
I still had fun going to YouTube using the school office's WiFi every morning.
But now, thanks to Xia Xue, I just might be getting a new HTC HD Mini.
Emphasise on the might and new.
Might, because it's a competition.
New, because well......
It isn't exactly new.
But, who the hell cares right? It's still the most awesomest HTC phone in the world!
So basically, all I'm supposed to do is blog about why I need this phone and all it's cool features.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy right?
Think again.
Many many years ago, HTC used to be called Dopod.
Yes, HTC was originally a Chinese company.
Anyways, back to the HTC HD Mini.
Obviously, that's not my hand.
And neither is the phone. Yet.
Back to the phone.
Its a full touchscreen phone. Duh.
My Dopod was also a touchscreen, but compared to the HD Mini, it's like trying to cut a brick.
I am currently using my sister's phone, and always mix it up with a touchscreen.
Touching the HD Mini is like touching a baby. It's so smooth and intuitive.
Next, the homescreen. You know the iPhone interface? Multiply it by a million and you get....
A masterpiece.
Its a fully customiseable home screen for YOU to put all your most commonly used applications which can be accessed with the touch of a finger.
It's so cool, it even has an animated weather wallpaper. It would be even cooler if it had a wallpaper that changed according to your Facebook status :D
Let's talk numbers. In grams.
In the left corner, weighing a staggering 170g, the Dopod D810!
And in the right corner, the HD Mini, undefeated champion for the Featherweight Mobile Championship, weighing in at 110g!
Clearly, it's lightweight, and as the name suggests, TINY!!
The HD Mini is a powerhouse. It packs 3G, bluetooth, WiFi and best of all, FM Radio!
Yes, now you too can listen to your favourite Hitz.fm chart shows anytime, anywhere!
And now, the best part of this post. The camera section.
My Dopod had 2.0 megapixels. Sucky right?
HD Mini is the complete all in one solution.
5.0 megapixels of autofocus Widescreen Photo Capture technology.
The photos taken turn out crisp and clear.
Better than my bloody Sony Ericsson W200i
So there you go Xia Xue and friends. This is why I need a HTC HD Mini.
Because I have a bloody crappy phone right now and I need something that's truly brilliant :D
